Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov answered the question of journalists about the possibility of re-announcing the ceasefire in Ukraine.
“It depends on the decision of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief,” Peskov told reporters.
commenting on the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which introduced the ceasefire on January 6 and 7, Peskov said that the reaction to him was inexplicable and cynical both from Kyiv and from many Western leaders.
At the same time, the speaker of the Kremlin noted that the decree on the ceasefire pursued “humanitarian goals.”
