Kremlin refutes: Putin did not give Zelensky a message

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not send to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky a special message about the possible dialogue between Moscow and Kyiv through the President Guinea-Bisau Umar Sisoku Embalo. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, the Russian media write.

“Our colleague from the African state expressed a desire, said that he would have contacts, and that he would bring Putin’s position to the Ukrainian side. There is no specific message in this case, and this was not about it,” replied. He was the question of whether the head of Russia conveyed such a message.

Vladimir Putin told the President of Guinea-Bisau about how the negotiations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine were held, which Kyiv subsequently refused. During the meeting, the Russian leader emphasized that Ukraine refused negotiations by decree of the United States.

According to Dmitry Peskov, Russia is ready to sit with Ukraine at the negotiating table, but Kyiv does not want this.
