Kremlin: Russian Federation Supported Idea Of Truce For 30 Days, Taking Into Account “nuances”

The subject discussion of the 30-day agreement on the ceasefire with Ukraine is impossible without taking into account the “nuances”. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin representative noted that when the topic of the truce was raised by the US President Donald Trump, it was supported by Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“This topic has long been thrown out by the Ukrainian side, and if you know, the theme of the truce, as soon as it was voiced by the Trump administration, was supported by President Putin with a reservation that there are a huge number of nuances around the idea of a truce, not finding answers to which it is very difficult to speak,” he said.

Earlier, on April 28, the President of the Russian Federation declared a truce on the days of the 80th anniversary of Victory. It acts from zero hours from May 7 to 8 to midnight from May 10 to 11. All military operations stop for this period.

In turn, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky rejected the proposal of Moscow, saying that the ceasefire should be unconditional and at least 30 days.
