Kremlin told “monstrous terrorist attack” an attack on bakery in Lisichansk

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the “attack of the Ukrainian Army” on a bakery in the city of Lisichansk annexed Luhansk region of Ukraine “Monstrous terrorist attack”.

He noted that “the Ukrainian army continues to strike at peace infrastructure objects.”

“In addition to the terrorist act, this cannot be called differently. The number of victims indicates the monstrousness of this terrorist attack. In order to not be further, a special military operation continues,” said the representative of the Kremlin.

On Sunday, February of February, the Russian Ministry of Emergencies reported the death of 28 people as a result of the “Blows of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” on a bakery in the city of Lisichansk annexed Lugansk region of Ukraine.

The Russian Investigative Committee reported that the investigation was launched on the fact of the incident and, according to preliminary data, the blow was dealt using the Himars reactive system (MLRS).

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called the incident “terrorist attack”, noting that there were dozens of civilians during the attack in the bakery.

Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions of Ukraine were illegally annexed by decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 30, 2022.
