Kremlin: West is “friends” with some countries for sake of Russian Federation

The goal of the “friendship” of the collective West with some countries is to displace Russia from this region. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on the air of the Russia-1 television channel.

“The collective West has their own accents. They, as a rule, are not friends for themselves. They try to be friends, displacing Russia from certain regions,” said the Kremlin representative.

According to Peskov, this policy has prospects. “We know this policy, we are used to it. Well, we also learned to build our connections in such a way as to hedge from these risks,” he said.
