Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said that after the adoption of the General Assembly of the Great National Assembly of Turkey, the bill on the country’s entry into NATO Sweden became one step closer to full membership in the alliance.
Kristersson shared the publication on his page on the social network X: “Today we are one step closer to becoming a full -fledged member of NATO. The vote of the General Assembly of the Great National Assembly of Turkey on the participation of the Swedish participation in NATO ended positively.”
In order to join NATO Sweden, it is also necessary to obtain the approval of the Hungarian parliament.
