KS Georgia did not make decision on impeachment of Zurabvishvili

The Georgian Constitutional Court at a meeting on October 3 did not make a decision on impeachment to President Salome Zurabishvili.

CS will continue to consider the presentation on Wednesday, October 4.

The beginning of the hearing is scheduled for 11:00 local time.

At yesterday’s meeting, lasting six hours, the head of the ruling party “Georgian Dream” Irakli Kobahidze was present.

Salome Zurabishvili herself did not take part in the court session.

In early September, the ruling party “Georgian Dream” initiated the impeachment of President Salome Zurabishvili because of her trip to Europe, despite the refusal of the Cabinet.
