Kuleba: Providing Patriot systems will become main message at meeting in Brussels

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that he arrived in Brussels against the backdrop of the ongoing missile strikes and attacks of Russia’s veilists to Ukraine. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said this before the meeting of the Ukrainian-NATO Council, which takes place as part of a two-day meeting of the Alliance Foreign Ministers.

Kuleba, congratulated the North Atlantic Alliance on the 75th anniversary and thanked the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg for his personal efforts and a “far-sighted approach, when it comes to initiatives to ensure sustainable financing and supporting Ukraine.”

“I arrived here against the backdrop of the ongoing unprecedented missile and attacks of Russia’s vessels to Ukraine. Only tonight, the city of Kharkov was attacked by dozens of drones. Unfortunately, Russia systematically destroys the Ukrainian economy, kills Ukrainians, and also destroys our cities, which corresponds to the Russian Strategies to erase Ukraine from the map, ”says Kuleba, whose words are given by Ukrainian media.

According to him, the salvation of Ukrainian cities depends on the presence of Patriot and other air defense systems.

The Minister noted that we are talking about Patriot, because it is the only system that can intercept ballistic missiles. “Only in March, 94 ballistic missiles were released in Ukraine. But the provision of Patriot depends on the allies, they have a lot of them, so it will be my main focus today, and I look forward to the discussion that we will spend with the allies,” the minister said .
