Kuleba said NATO wants to join Ukraine

NATO wants to join Ukraine, and not vice versa, said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleb during participation in the meeting of the UN Security Council in Ukraine.

Kulebu was asked about the possible membership of his country in NATO. “I think NATO now wants to join Ukraine,” he answered (quote for TASS).

On September 13, Kyiv published recommendations for a draft security guarantee agreement. The document said that Ukraine retains a course to join the European Union and NATO. Also for self -defense, Kyiv hopes for the formation of quick response forces with the support of the alliance. The Kremlin called this initiative “a threat to Russia.”
