Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleb on Monday for the first time during the start of the conflict of the Russian Federation and Ukraine will personally meet with the Hungarian colleague Peter Siyyarto.
As the European Pravda writes, Kuleba reported this before the meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
“Today I will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary. This will be our first personal meeting since the beginning of a full -scale invasion. And I think this fact speaks for itself: we continue to speak with Hungary. As I have already noted, Ukraine has changed its legislation on the formation and use of languages of national minorities as Hungary wanted this. And respect for this fact must be shown, ”Kuleba noted.
The Minister noted that the European Commission was in the decision of the European Commission – that Ukraine should bring the legislation in line with the recommendations of the Venice Commission.
“and all the key recommendations of the Venice Commission were embodied … I think the rules of the game should be honest. If we are told to do something and this is done, this should be recognized as a result,” the head of the department added.
