Kyiv: Putin’s proposal was rejected on “peaceful settlement”

Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak responded to the proposals of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for “peaceful settlement”.

According to him, Moscow has no desire to stop the war, and the proposals put forward by the Russian leader indicate “the inability of the current Russian leadership to adequately evaluate the realities.”

“no new” peaceful proposals “from Russia did not come,” wrote Podolyak in the social network X.

He stated that the content of the proposal of the President of the Russian Federation “is quite specific, extremely insulting for international law and absolutely eloquently speaks of the inability of the current Russian leadership to adequately evaluate the realities.”

Earlier today, Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation will be ready for negotiations, as soon as Ukraine withdraws troops from Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye and refuse plans to join NATO.
