Kyrgyzstan And Tajikistan Resumed Air Traffic

At the MANAS International Airport in the capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek on Friday, March 14, a passenger aircraft, who arrived from the capital of Tajikistan Dushanbe, landed. This is reported by local media.

This is the first flight for almost four years between the two countries.

How is expected to fly out in Dushanbe from Bishkek in the afternoon.

It is also planned to launch flights on the Bishkek-Khujand and Khujand-Bishkek route.

Air Force between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was interrupted in May 2021. This happened after an armed conflict on the border.

On the eve of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Bishkek said that from tomorrow flights were resumed along the route of Dushanbe-Bishkek-Dushanbe.

Following the results of negotiations, the parties signed an agreement on the state border between the two countries.

Two checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border were also opened.
