Kyrgyzstan is ready to provide a platform for signing a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan by the speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Nurlanbek Turgunbek Uulo at a meeting with Armenian colleague Alena Simonyan in Yerevan. “We hope that the corresponding document will be signed in the near future. Kyrgyzstan, having experience related to the 1994 Bishkek protocol, is ready to provide a site for negotiations between the two countries,” said the speaker.

Alain Simonyan expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan for the proposal to provide a site for negotiations to conclude a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the significance of the re -use of Kyrgyz experience. He also mentioned as a positive example the experience of Kyrgyzstan in resolving border issues with Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the development of trade and economic ties of Bishkek and Yerevan were also raised.
