Russia suggested Kyrgyzstan to consider the possibility of construction on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic Biological Laboratory of BSL-3, but the Kyrgyz side spoke out against the implementation of the project, the Ministry of Health of the Republic reported, reports “Azattyk Radio”.
According to the ministry, the project creation of the biologist was discussed at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technicalitus Cooperation, held on April 14 in Moscow. The Ministry of Health of the two countries agreed to continue the development of cooperation in the field of health, including by expanding direct links between medical, scientific and educational organizations. In addition, according to the Ministry of Health, the parties decided to continue to increase cooperation on joint study, prevention and response to infectious diseases in the framework of Russian initiatives to promote international development.
