June 23, the founder of the private military company Wagner, Evgeny Prigozhin, accused the Russian Ministry of Defense of blows on the positions of his company and stated that 25 thousand people were going to “understand”.

On the morning of June 24, he said that the Wagner PMC is controlling the military facilities of the city. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called Prigozhin the words “information provocation” and rejected the accusations of strikes on the positions of PMCs.

President Vladimir Putin, in an appeal to the Russians, called the actions of Evgeny Prigozhin “rebellion and adventure.”

According to the president, “those who raised the rebellion betrayed Russia.” Vladimir Putin assured that those who participated in the preparation of the rebellion will “bear the inevitable punishment.” He emphasized that “the armed forces and state bodies received the necessary orders.”

The FSB of Russia opened a criminal case. The Center for Public Relations (COOs) of the FSB made a statement in which he described the statements of Evgeny Prigozhin as a crime and betrayal and called on the fighters of the Wagner PMC to take measures to detain it.
