The Rodriguez Brothers Circuit in the capital of Mexico hosted a 71-lap race over a distance of 4.3 kilometers.
Lando Norris, who started the race from pole position, finished first with a time of 1 hour 37 minutes 58.574 seconds, winning his sixth victory of the season and overtaking Oscar Piastri in the overall standings championship.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc from Monaco took second place, 30.324 seconds behind the leader, and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen from the Netherlands was third, 31.049 seconds back.
Lewis Hamilton received a 10-second penalty for leaving limits of the track and gained an advantage.
The 21st stage of the season – the Brazilian Grand Prix – will take place on Sunday, November 9.
