Largest airline stopped letting Russians on flights

Finnair – the largest airline Finland – began to refuse the Russians who want to use its flights to Helsinki from other European cities. Russian media, citing information from their readers, write that Russians are faced with this situation when they are trying to get through the Finnish capital to their homeland. At the same time, even the owners of a residence permit in European countries are denied.

Company representatives do not even allow the aircraft to be Russians who fly to Finland not for the purpose of tourism.

The airline’s press service refused to comment on specific cases and redirected further issues of the border service. “Finnair follows the recommendations and cooperates with the official bodies such as the Border Service of Finland or the official bodies of the destination,” the company noted.

Finland on September 30 decided to limit the entry of Russians. The border closed for Russians with tourist visas due to the threat that they represent Finland.
