Lavrov and Mirzoyan discussed a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Armenia Sergey Lavrov and Ararat Mirzoyan During a telephone conversation discussed the prospects for coordinating a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan with the assistance of Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

is noted, the parties also exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 with an emphasis on further steps to unlock transport communications in the region and delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

“The prospects for coordinating the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku with Russian assistance were also raised,” the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
