Lavrov: Russian Federation Highly Appreciates Friendly And Trusting Relations With Turkmenistan

Russia highly appreciates friendly and trusting relations with Turkmenistan. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during negotiations with the Deputy Chairman of the Government, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

“We are highly appreciated by friendly, trusting relations with the fraternal Turkmenistan, our partner and close friend, regardless of the international conjuncture,” said Lavrov.

He noted that Russia positively appreciated the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in events dedicated to Victory Day in Moscow, as well as the participation of the combat calculation of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan in the Victory Parade, including the Immortal Regiment’s campaign at the People’s Memory of Memory, the opening of the Memory Alley near the embassy. “All this confirms our commitment to the common history, common values ​​and our intention to firmly protect this memory for the subsequent generations of our children and grandchildren,” Lavrov said.
