Lavrov said reason for tightening of conflict in Ukraine

The longer the West will supply weapons to Ukraine, the longer the conflict will last, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following the meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Caspian states. The broadcast was conducted by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“It seems to us a similar line that the West occupied, absolutely counterproductive and harmful. The more Ukraine will pump, the longer this conflict will last, the longer the agony of the Nazi regime, which is supported by the Western capitals, will last longer,” said Lavrov.

He noted that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Olaf Sholts, and the Supreme Representative of the European Foreign Affairs Union Josep Borrel, regularly act with the inadmissibility of negotiations. The latter, as the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, calls to spend more money on weapons for Ukraine from the European Fund of the World.
