Lavrov’s visit program to Baku promulgated

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as part of his visit to Azerbaijan on May 10-11 will meet with the President of the Republic Ilham Aliyev. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In the Russian diplotomy, they added that the Russian side was tuned to continue open and mutually respectful dialogue throughout the spectrum of development of relations with Azerbaijan – in politics, economics, cultural and humanitarian sphere.

“Special attention will be paid to the comprehensive implementation of statements by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021. It is planned to consider the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the humanitarian aspects of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, questions of post-conflict recovery and establishing peaceful life” – pointed out in the Russian ministry.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that among the main tasks – unlocking all transport and economic relations in the region.

“The heads of foreign policy agencies of Azerbaijan and Russia will also discuss issues of coordination of interaction at the sites of leading regional and international associations – the CIS, UN, OSCE, the Non-Aligned Movement, Council of Europe, BSEC,” informed in the Russian diplotomation.
