Turkish low -cost alete Anadolujet (a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines – Thy) made the first direct flight to Tashkent.
Aircraft from Ankara landed at Tashkent Airport at 04:10 local time.
Passengers of the Ankara-Tashkent flight were met with applause, pilots and crews awarded flowers.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Civil Aviation Department of Uzbekistan Tahir Nazarov, Turkish Ambassador to Tashkent Olgan Bekar, and the representative of Thy in Tashkent Selim Kakhryman.
