On Tuesday, December 26, in St. Petersburg a meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was held.
This was reported by the press service of the head of the Azerbaijani state.
The meeting again noted with satisfaction the successful development of bilateral friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus in various fields.
The parties emphasized the presence of good potential for further expansion of cooperation.
It was stated that meetings and contacts at a high level contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The heads of state expressed confidence that the connections of the two countries will continue to strengthen, the exchange of views on further contacts and prospects of cooperation took place.
