Leaders Of Kazakhstan And Tajikistan Discussed Ways To Expand Bilateral Cooperation

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev held a telephone conversation with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. On Sunday, October 5, the press service of Akorda reports.

During the conversation, leaders noted the progressive development of Kazakh-Tajik relations demonstrating positive dynamics in all areas of cooperation.

The heads of state discussed further steps to expand interaction in trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian areas.

Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday, wishing him further success in responsible state activities for the benefit of the fraternal Tajik people.

Head of state emphasized that he was highly appreciated by the personal contribution of the President of Tajikistan to strengthening the strategic partnership and allies between our countries.

The interlocutors also considered the schedule of upcoming contacts.
