Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon. The Akorda press service reported this on Thursday, October 9.
The presidents confirmed their continued commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
The parties discussed the progress of implementation of the most important agreements reached at the highest level.
There was also an exchange of views on topical issues of regional and international agenda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the President of Tajikistan a successful summit in the “Central Asia – Russia” format, as well as a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.
