Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Chinese Chinese SI Jinping held a bilateral meeting in the fields of the second summit in the Central Asia -China format, during which they signed a number of agreements on the expansion of strategic partnership.

The prospects of creating industrial and technological parks, research IT centers, the development of electric vehicles, solar energy, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries were discussed. The idea of creating a joint leasing company was also highlighted.
In the humanitarian sphere, it was decided to open direct air traffic between Dushanbe and Beijing, as well as on the “Days of Culture of China” in Tajikistan.
