Chairman of the Joint Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine Hickmet Javadov said on Facebook that Leonid Kravets died – a pilot who evacuated Khojalytsev on February 26, 1992.
“Hour ago I received a very sad and sorrowful news. After a long sickness, Leonid Kravkets left us in a different world,” Javadov wrote in the social network.
“The heroic pilot Leonid Kravets has exceptional merits in the horrors of the horrors of Khodzhailsky massacre, the evacuation of the survivors of the Azerbaijanis and bring the truth about the Karabakh conflict to the world,” the Javadov wrote, adding that the Azerbaijani people would always be grateful to him.
