Azerbaijan suspended broadcasting Lider TV, the decision was announced at a meeting of the National Television Council and Radio, held on May 24.
According to the decision, given that the bankruptcy of Lider TV and Radio-Azərbaycan LLC confirmed entered into legitimate force by the court decision, it was decided to terminate the license No. 169 issued on January 19, 2018 by the National Television and Radio Ltd. LLC to National Television and Radio Broadcasting.
So, the television and broadcasting of Lider TV and Radio-Azərbaycan was suspended from 00:00 on June 1, 2021.
