“Lithuania, together with other countries of the Northern and Baltic regions (NB8), decisively urges Russia to immediately stop an aggressive war against Ukraine,” the head of state wrote on his page on the social network of the American company X.
Nauceda emphasized the determination to support and arm Ukraine, simultaneously strengthening the defense of Europe to restrain “Russian aggression.”
“while Russia continues to kill innocent civilians, we will strive to strengthen international sanctions and pressure on the military economy of Russia,” the president said.
