London denied detention of a British diplomat in Iran

The British Foreign Ministry called Iran’s statement not true about the detention of the deputy head of the United Kingdom in the Islamic Republic, Reuters writes with reference to the official representative of the department.

“Information about the detention of a British diplomat in Iran is completely false,” said the diplomat.

Earlier, the Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (KSIR) announced the detention on suspicion of espionage of a number of foreign diplomats, including the British. The detainees tried to take soil samples in closed for extraneous places where the VKS KSIR conducted missile tests.
