London will support the possible decision of Kiev to refuse to join NATO, stated the deputy head of the British Ministry of Defense James Hippie, reports RIA Novosti.
“Any diplomatic solutions should endanger the sovereignty of Ukraine. But if Ukraine decides that it will not become a member of NATO, we will support it. The decision must remain behind the Ukrainian government,” said Hippi TV channel Sky News.
He added that he hoped for the victory of diplomacy in a situation with an escalation of tension on the Ukrainian border.
