Investigators of the Abay District Directorate of the Police of the DP of the Karaganda region referred a case against a citizen of Azerbaijan, who deceived two entrepreneurs, abducting their gold jewelry in the amount of 2.5 million tenge (about $ 5,600).
The Police of the Abay RUP Police began the search for a fraudster after a local resident addressed them with a statement, the Polisia.kz resource reports.
“The applicant said that she sells jewelry in one of the city markets, where an previously unfamiliar man, abusing her confidence, took possession of golden chains with a total cost of more than 800 thousand tenge. The false saucer chose expensive gold chains and convinced that he wants to check them before the purchase. The authenticity in the nearest pawnshop, disappeared in an unknown direction, ”the police department of the Karaganda region said.

Currently, a 44-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan is under arrest. The case under Part 3 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan – “Fraud” – was transferred to court. A man may face a punishment of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
