This is President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said in an interview with foreign and Belarusian media, BelTA reports.
“We both worked and work. Our military personnel both carried out their service and carry. We did not announce any mobilization and are not going to conduct it and announce it. But we are preparing for war in terms of not being committed for us Aggression. That’s all. Belarusians can absolutely be calm in this regard, ”the head of state assured.
“Our people must do their own business and live absolutely calmly,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
Lukashenko said in which case mobilization may be carried out: “This is spelled out in the documents, they are not secret. If we feel the threat of war, we will make mobilization. So far there is no such threat.”
He also emphasized: “If you want peace – get ready for war. This is not I said. Therefore, if you want peace, you must be ready for war. And your opponent must understand – he is ready.”
As for the individual calls to “run from Belarus”, Lukashenko is sure that this “whip” will be subsided soon and this is just an information campaign that is now expanded for certain purposes.
“So, they think to create something in Belarus. Or just an additional wave here,” said the president.
