President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of the French Republic on the holiday of July 14 – the day of the capture of the Bastille, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.

“For many years, the peoples of Belarus and France, which unite numerous events of the general past, similar values ​​and features of a national character, develop human contacts, friendship, establish business relations,” the congratulations said.
