Lukashenko invited president of South Africa to Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the Belarusian people and personally congratulated the President of the South African Republic of Siril Ramafos and citizens of this country on the National Holiday-Day of Freedom, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.

“Belarus earlier at international sites consistently supported the inhabitants of Africa in overcoming an apartheid, and today we are striving to establish a fair world order based on friendship, trust and respect for the UN and international law. On the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our Countries are especially pleased to note the possibility of bilateral interaction to a new level, ”the congratulation says.

Lukashenko confirmed the interest of the further development of contacts with South Africa in a wide range of directions, especially in the field of industrial cooperation with an emphasis on agriculture, in information and communication technologies, food security, education, protection of motherhood and childhood.

The politician also invited Sirila Ramafos to visit Belarus to give a new impetus to cooperation between the two states. He also wished him good health and fruitful political activity, and the friendly people of South Africa – consent and progress.
