President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyra Zhaparov on the National Holiday – Independence Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.
“Kyrgyzstan has gone a difficult path of gaining statehood. Today, the country is worthily responds to the challenges of our time, firmly defending its interests in the international arena,” the congratulation says.
In Belarus, they attach important importance to the consistent expansion of contacts with Kyrgyzstan, the buildup of interaction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and other structures, Lukashenko noted.
“I value your personal support for the desire of Belarus to become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” he emphasized. “I am convinced that the relations of friendship and respect that have developed between Minsk and Bishkek will allow us to successfully withstand unprecedented global shocks and enrich the partnership with new ideas and promising projects” .
