Lukashenko wished Ukrainians of “peaceful sky”

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of Ukraine on Independence Day and said that “today’s contradictions will not be able to destroy the centuries-old foundation of sincere good-neighborly relations between the peoples of the two countries,” his press service reports.

The President of Belarus expressed confidence that his country will continue to advocate the development of friendly contacts at all levels between Minsk and Kyiv.

Lukashenko also wished the Ukrainian people “peaceful sky, tolerance, courage, strength and success in restoring a decent life.”
