Lukoil since December will stop export of oil from his Caspian deposits for the Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan pipeline in connection with Western sanctions and send them to the Caspian pipeline consortium.
“Russian oil will not be delivered through the BTD, the reason is sanctions,” said one of the sources. Other sources said that the decision was made by Western shareholders of the BTD.
Note that from December 5, the ban on European clients to buy and transport Russian oil comes into force.
