Macron Accepted Resignation Of Prime Minister Francois Bayru

French President Emmanuel Macron accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Francois Bayru after his government did not receive a vote of confidence in the National Assembly.

Bayra submitted an application for leaving the Champs Elysee. The decision followed yesterday’s vote, on which 364 deputies spoke out for distrust of the government, 194 – supported him, and 15 abstained.

Bayra’s cabinet fell against the backdrop of the draft budget for 2026, which provided for the abolition of a number of official holidays and the savings of about 43 billion euros. This initiative caused protests among the French.

Thus, the French government, led by Bair, officially resigned.
