Macron against candidates from Britain and Turkey

French President Emmanuel Macron intends to impose a veto on the candidacy of the head of the British Ministry of Defense Ben Wallace, when deciding on the new NATO Secretary General, he is also against any candidate for this post from Britain and Turkey, the publication of Express.

New York Times previously called Wallace among possible candidates for the post of Secretary General of NATO after the expiration of the powers of Jens Stoltenberg on September 30, 2023.
