Macron and Sholts asked Putin to free Azov fighters

French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Sholts called on the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to free the Ukrainian military who left the Azovstal plant in Mariupol and captured, reports TASS with reference to information from the Champs Elysees.

We are talking about 2.5 thousand Ukrainian troops, Macron, which were blocked in the plant, noted in the Macron administration.

The heads of France and Germany also announced the need to remove the blockade of the port of Odessa for the export of Ukrainian grain, which will prevent the food crisis in the world. They also drew attention to Putin’s words about the export of agricultural products by sea and called on in this context to continue the work begun with the UN.
