Macron said Australian Prime Minister “Liaz.” He did not remain in debt

France President Emmanuel Macron accused Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison in lies in the sidelines of the G20 Leaders Summit, reports Al Arabiyya.

The question of the Australian journalist about whether Macron is that Morrison lied to him, the French leader replied: “I do not think. I know.”

“I feel great respect for your country, great respect and friendship to your people. I’m just saying that when we have such trusting relationships, you must tell the truth, and behave accordingly,” added Macron.

In turn, Morrison, who spent a few short conversations with Macron during the Grand Twenty Summit in an attempt to restore the relationship, strongly rejected the accusations of lies and suggested that French President had to know that Australia was going to take advantage of the opportunity to refuse French submarines that were “ordinary boats with a diesel engine.”

“I very clearly explained that the option with an ordinary submarine does not meet the interests of Australia,” said the leader of Australia.

Note that the relationship between France, Australia and the United States worsened in mid-September of this year, when official Canberra decided to break the contract for submarines worth $ 90 billion with the naval group of France and instead acquired atomic submarines with using American technologies.
