Macron stated that he did not expect crisis permission in Ukraine in near future

President of France Emmanuel Makron said that he did not expect the situation in Ukraine in the very near future, reports Interfax.

“I have to be honest and say that I do not see the possibility of a diplomatic settlement in the coming hours or in the next coming days,” said Macron to journalists before the summit of the leaders of the European Union in Versailles.

At the same time, he assured that he will continue to help help in search of a solution to the problem: “We will negotiate with Putin President in the coming days. We will look if there are moves on both sides.”

Macron noted that during his contacts with the Russian Federation will try to “influence Russia, push it to compromise.”
