The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) knows about the explosion of drone at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZAES).
The agency was reported on this on April 7 on the social network x.
“In the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant captured by the invaders, an explosion occurred – the drone detonated. Magate representatives became witnesses of the incident,” the agency said.
Magate called to refrain from actions that contradict five principles of organization and violate nuclear safety.
The head of the UN International Agency for Atomic Energy, Rafael Grossy confirmed that the drone exploded in the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The general director did not specify which sides of the conflict launched him.
In the meantime, the Russian State Corporation Rosatom said that three employees of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant were injured as a result of shelling the station with Ukrainian forces, one of them was seriously injured.
