CEO of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossy said that Russian President Vladimir Putin knows all the details of what is happening at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The Russian leader knows the object himself well, he said in an interview with CBS. Grossi statements quote Russian media.
He [Putin] knows every detail [of what is happening], which struck me. In a conversation with him, I realized that he was in great detail not only about the structure of the station itself, but also, which is very important, about access to electricity, external sources of energy. This is an object that he knows very well, ”said the General Director of the Magate.
Grossy again announced the need to create a security zone around the ZAES in order to prevent a nuclear disaster that exists due to continuing shelling.
According to Grossy, the situation in the area of the nuclear power plant “is unprecedented in many respects.”
