Detained in Ukraine Azerbaijani Businessman Maxud Mahmudov today was taken to Azerbaijan. This is stated in a joint statement of the Ministry of the Interior and the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan.
An Azerbaijani Interior announced on January 10, 2020 to the international wanted list under article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with causing damage in a large amount) of the Criminal Code M.Makhmudov was detained in Ukraine in July of this year.
Note that the Security Service of Ukraine in April of this year reported the detention of 51-year-old Mahmudov.
