In Islamabad, a meeting of Heads of Intelligence of Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran and China took place. It is reported by Sputnik Tajikistan.
According to the information, the initiator of the meeting was the director of the interdepartmental intelligence of Pakistan General Phasis Hamid.
The participants of the meeting discussed the situation in Afghanistan, exchanged views on what was happening in this republic, discussed the measures necessary for “lasting peace and stability” in the region.
Weekly, Pakistan’s authorities have already conducted a similar event, but Russia did not participate in it.
