Major General Ekrem Salloum al-Abdallah, one of the executioner officers in the Sednaya prison during the overthrown regime of Bashar al-Assad, was detained in Syria.
The Syrian Ministry of Internal Affairs in a statement on Telegram reported that Major General Ekrem Salloum al-Abdallah was detained in Damascus.
The statement notes that Abdullah, as commander of the military police under the regime’s Ministry of Defense, was directly responsible for the massacre of prisoners in the Sednaya military prison.
