Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan signed agreements on strategic cooperation in 10 different areas in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
According to the New Straits Times, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov during a visit to Kuala Lumpur held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anvar Ibrahim.
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between the state and private sectors of the two countries, and also exchanged views on investment projects.
In the presence of leaders, the ministers of the two states signed documents on partnership in areas such as trade, cybersecurity, education, healthcare and digital transformation.
It is expected that the agreements reached will open up new opportunities for multilateral cooperation between Kuala Lumpur and Bishkek.
