When a pre-flight inspection at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, one of the passengers was removed from Makarov’s pistol, the airport press service said Haqqin.az.
According to the report, weapons were discovered by employees of the Main Directorate of Aviation Security of Azerbaijani Airlines.
The incident is documented, the passenger was transferred to law enforcement officials for further proceedings, the press service said.
